Implementation of the Comprehensive Exam

Update:

  • For participants of Batch 1 Competency Exam which was held on December 1 and 2 December 2017, it changed its implementation date to December 8 and 9, 2017.
  • For Batch 2 Competency Exam participants there is no schedule change
  • For Competency Exam participants Batch 3 and 4, the execution of the exam in January (the date of execution will be announced following)

For students of Accounting Department of Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Brawijaya, here we convey about the Comprehensive Exercise Implementation Mechanism, among others:

  1. Comprehensive Examination is done separately with Thesis Exam. Students MUST follow and PASS the Comprehensive Exam first before taking the Thesis Exam.
  2. Comprehensive Test Registration via jotform. (click here)
  3. Schedule of Comprehensive Exam Exam:
    • Batch 1: 1 and 2 December 2017
    • Batch 2: 15 and 16 December 2017
    • Batch 3: 5 and 6 January 2018
    • Batch 4: 19 and 20 January 2018
  4. Graduation criteria of Comprehensive Exam participants is a minimum of 60% (48 questions) the correct answer of all questions tested.
  5. There are 8 subjects tested in the Comprehensive Exam, among others:
    1. Financial Accounting
    2. Cost Accounting and Management
    3. Financial management
    4. Taxation
    5. Information Systems
    6. Audit
    7. Public sector accounting
    8. Business Ethics
      8 clumps of the course will be tested for 2 days. Each clump consists of 10 multiple choice questions.

      • The first day will be tested material Financial Accounting, Financial Management, Information Systems, and Business Ethics.
      • The second day will be tested Cost Accounting and Management, Taxation, Audit, and Public Sector Accounting.
    9. The implementation of the Comprehensive Exam can be arranged by the student before the Thesis Exam.
    10. The expiration period of the Comprehensive Exam result is 2 years since the student is granted a Comprehensive Exam exam.

Note:

The execution of the exam will be held when the minimum quota of applicant is met on H-3 test date (minimum quota is 70 participants)

The maximum quota for each exam is 100 registrants.
