CIMA once again held a Guest Lecture with the theme “Tips and Tricks for Study Plans and Professional Certification”. The guest lecture event was held online on Friday, 25 September 2020 through the Zoom application with the speaker Mr. Raden Florentinus Suryo Susilo, CPA, ACMA. CGMA., who is familiarly called Flo.
In this guest lecture session, a lot of information was obtained, one of which was the introduction of a superior program called the CIMA a Star Program. This program is perfect for students who want to get additional professional degrees while studying in the final semester with a GPA of > 3.50 as well as for alumni (maximum 5 years). Why is this program called superior? Because this program provides an express path to the final exam out of a total of 16 exams to qualify for CIMA.
What does it take to become the financial future that future professionals hope for? According to Mr. Flo what is needed is to have a Technical Skill. Technical Skill is a basic skill or often referred to as basic entry. The second skill is having good analytical business skills and also having strategic skills such as management and communication solutions. A little tip from Mr. Flo for taking the CIMA exam is to see that CIMA is all about business finance. Students are used to broadening their knowledge of business strategies and increase their writing exercises well.
